Sibling Support
Siblings of children with autism, ADHD & Anxiety are in a unique position. They face challenges similar to those that parents encounter, but at a time before they’ve developed appropriate coping strategies. As a result, they need support to ensure that they’re informed, feel respected, and know how to be compassionate advocates for their brothers and sisters. Our group provides a safe place to talk about the day to day stressors and challenges in hopes to find support and guidance.
Teletherapy Services
Telemental Health | Online Counseling
Autism & Anxiety Therapists offers teletherapy (telemental health) which means more accessible therapy choices. Clients can now securely receive counseling online using Google Hangouts Meet.
Who Can Use It?
Anyone! As long as you are a resident of Illinois, we can offer telemental health counseling.
> Those with busy schedules – schedule a session during your lunch or whenever you have the time to meet with your therapist but don’t have time to come to us.
> Those with mobility issues & anxiety – if coming to our office is difficult, we are happy to meet with you virtually so you can keep up with your therapy sessions.
> Rural Illinois residents – for those who live outside of Chicago, it can be a hassle to travel for therapy sessions.
** Please Note: Some insurance companies do not cover online counseling, in which case our regular rates apply.
